Every year, we look forward to pausing for a moment and giving a proper shout-out to our hard-working team who truly keep Berry Recruitment Group, and its brands, Berry Recruitment, Wild Recruitment, Wild Berry Associates and First Recruitment Services, running smoothly every day.
The winners were presented with their awards at our branches across the country, celebrating together and with our Managing Directors, Lee Gamble and Michelle Merritt.
Group Managing Director, Chris Chown, spoke about the ups and downs of 2024, as well as the fantastic achievements of the teams across the four brands. He said: “Whilst 2024 was definitely a challenging year for recruitment businesses we still found good reason to hand out over 60 awards in recognition of our fantastic teams, managers, consultants, business support and central support services colleagues.
With 21 star performer, top temp and perm consultant awards we still had plenty to celebrate with some exceptional individual performances. This was wonderfully complemented by 10 branch team awards and shields.
We also celebrated our business support and central support colleagues for their invaluable contribution to our continued success, with a presentation ceremony at our St Albans head office.
We were also immensely proud to celebrate another 10 long service awards ranging from 5 to 20 years’ service.
The awards always give us an opportunity to remember our Founder Tony Berry and we were delighted to award the Tony Berry Award to Mohammed Rauf for the second year running.
Well done to all the award winners and we wish everyone continued success in 2025.”
As well as the coveted Tony Berry Award, presented to Head of Rail, Mohammed Rauf, as the ‘combined top biller’ across the group, other awards included Board Recognition awards, Star Performer, Newcomer, and branch awards for Achievement of Net Profit.
Also included are the Long Service awards for the team members; most notably Patrick Casey, Operations Manager for our Harlow branch who has achieved 20 years of service with the group.
Congratulations to all our winners across Berry Recruitment, Wild Recruitment, Wild Berry Associates and First Recruitment Services. Looking ahead to the rest
of 2025 and into 2026, we’re excited for what is to come across the group.
